The police arrested two members of a motorcycle lifter gang, while one managed to flee and recovered 14 stolen bikes here on Friday. SSP Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) Asad Raza said that taking notice of the surge in motorcycles lifting and snatching incidents, operations were conducted in different areas of the metropolis.
He said that during such an operation two members of car lifter gang identified as Sohail Murtaza and Harnoon were arrested while their one accomplice Shahjehan managed to escape.
The ACLC recovered 14 stolen and snatched bikes from custody of the detainees. The recovered bikes were taken into custody and the detainees were being interrogated after registering cases against them.
