Earthquake shook the residents of Pakistan's capital city Islamabad and many cities of its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Aaj News reported Friday night. Its 5.1 severity was measured at Richter scale whereas its epicentre was the border areas between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The residents of Peshawar, KP's capital city and surrounding areas were scared of the tremors as buildings were seen vibrating. Aaj News also aired footage of the quake-affected jolting buildings.
The quake also hit Abbottabad, Battagram, Kohistan, Mardan, Nowshera, Chitral, Swat, Malakand and surrounding.
