PM assures dialogue with unarmed tribals

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday reiterated the government's resolve to continue pursuing 3Ds (dialogue, development, deterrence) policy, assuring talks with tribals who are ready to surrender their arms to the tribal agents of their respective areas.

"We are ready to hold talks with those who will voluntarily decommission to the tribal agents. We are ready to bring them into the mainstream," he said while speaking in the National Assembly.

However, the Prime Minister ruled out any dialogue with those working on foreign agenda.
