Australian economic growth slows to 0.3% in Q3

Sydney: Australia's economic growth stalled in the third-quarter of the year as consumer spending fell, official data showed Wednesday.

The G20 economy grew 0.3 percent between July and September, far below market expectations. The Australian dollar sank against the US dollar on the news.
