NS Football Club defeated Khyber Union Eleven in penalty kicks to win final match of Annual College Football Tournament played at Degree College Ground, Landi Kotal. Candidate for the up-coming election from NA-45, Shermath Khan Afridi was the chief guest on the occasion. Before start of the final game, players of the two finalist teams were introduced to the chief guest.
Beside Principal of the college, Dr Aslam Taseer, teaching staff, large numbers of students and sports lovers witnessed the competition and applauded the players on exhibiting their best talent. Atif was declared man the match while Noman was nominated player of the tournament. Oman Maseeh was awarded best goal keeper of the tournament.
At the end the chief guest gave away trophies and prizes to the winning teams and shining players of the tournament. Shermath Khan Afridi also granted Rs 30000 for the teams and organising committee. The tournament was continued for two months and 16 best teams from across Tehsil Landi Kotal participated in it.
