One more H1N1 patient dies in Multan

Another patient of H1N1 (seasonal influenza A) died in Multan on Saturday after which the toll due to the disease climbed to eight. Hospital sources said that a resident of Multan was admitted to Ward No7 of the Nishtar Hospital Multan with chest infection a couple of days ago.
Later, the affected person was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in critical condition where he expired. District Coordinator, Epidemic Control Programme, Dr Attaur Rehman said the patient was having the symptoms of NIH1 and his blood samples had been sent for clinical analysis. With the latest death, toll due to seasonal influenza A has climbed to eight. Several others with H1N1 symptoms including women and children were still under treatment at the hospital.
