"A westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and may persist during next 12 hours," the Met said, saying that country's most parts are likely to remain under dry and cold weather over the period. The Met also asked the farmers to step up its protection measure for standing crops and plant nurseries against the cold wave across the country.
