EU observers briefed about census

In order to get information regarding the ongoing census in the provincial metropolis, a team of the United Nations consisting of international and national census observers Uzoma Okoye, Dr Rafique Chandio and Dr Noushin Mahmood called on the Deputy Commissioner Lahore, here on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner Sameer Syed briefed them about the pragmatic arrangements for the ongoing census.
The observers also held a meeting with the Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue and General) and briefed them about the working of census teams. Later, they visited census control room and media cell of DC office where Public Relations Officer Imran Maqbool briefed them about the performance of control room and media cell.
