Seven die as bus rams into rickshaw

Seven including a woman and a young girl were killed after bus rammed into a rickshaw in Bhakkar district of Punjab. While ten others were severely injured in the road accident near Kalor Kot area of district Bhakkar. Enraged area residents came out on the streets after the accident and attempted to set the bus alight. The mob broke the bus' glasses and also set tyres on fire and blocked the main road.
The mob raised slogans against the patrolling police for failing to stop heavy traffic on main highways. A heavy contingent of Punjab police was deployed to prevent further violence.
