In pursuance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Ordinance 2016, the provincial government has constituted Scrutiny Committee comprising Justice Syed Afsar Shah, Judge Peshawar High Court Nazim, District Govt Peshawar, Fida Wazir, Additional Chief Secretary, FATA and Abdul Fayaz Advocate as members for selection of independent members of Capital City District Public Safety Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with immediate effect, said a notification issued here on Friday.
Terms of Reference of the Scrutiny Committee shall be to invite applications or nominations from the public for selection of independent members, interview eligible and willing candidates, recommend the required number of names as per Section 50 of Police Ordinance, 2016 to the Government for their appointment as independent members of the concerned Commission and complete the selection process within 30 days from the commencement of selection process.
