HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks were 0.51 percent higher by the break Monday, following strong gains on Wall Street amid positive US jobs data which hinted at a lasting recovery for the world's biggest economy.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 105.2 points to 20,862.18 on turnover of HK$34.79 billion ($4.49 billion).
