PITB's project gets $150,000 fund

Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)'s PlanX project, 'Car Chabhi' has received funding worth US $150,000. Chairman of PITB, Dr Umar Saif said here Sunday that the project is aimed at revolutionising automobiles in Pakistan by providing digital key of the car in smart phones.
Car Chabi's smart device, connects to cars wiring harness and provides a number of controls for car users via their smart phone for example, users can lock/unlock, turn on and off, start/stop, secure, and turn the AC and heater on/off.
