Issuance of licenses temporarily suspended

The city traffic police on Monday temporarily suspended the process of issuance of new and duplicate licenses or renewal because of non-availability of new license tickets at all the license centres.
According to spokesman of the police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Police Syed Ahmed Mubeen had contacted the Post Master General (PMG) to provide new license tickets at the earliest. On this, the PMG had assured to release tickets by January 4 to avoid further hardships to the public.
