Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Central Punjab is set to finalise a schedule for Bilawal Bhutto's public meetings in line with his announcement of political long march on 27th December at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. Sources said the party high command has started consultation with senior leadership from Punjab in this regard. They said the party has decided to hold public meetings in major urban areas of Punjab in the first phase of his mass contact movement that would be followed by holding of similar public meetings in other parts of the province as well.
The party also decided to contact other opposition parties for their support against the government, they added. They said Bilawal had directed the party workers to get united and strengthen his hands against the government. He advised the workers to prepare for general elections as well. Interestingly, the party workers are also charged to welcome Bilawal in the province of Punjab. They are of the view that the party would not retain its position unless it spearheads the joint opposition against the government.
