Minister for Railways Saad Rafique has said that he did not want to make any harsh comments about Asif Ali Zardari as he had returned after 18 moths staying abroad.
Talking to newsmen at Lahore Railway Station after visiting the special Christmas Peace Train on Sunday, he said that whenever Nawaz Shairf got the opportunity he had tried to put the country on the path of development.
He said that Pakistan Railways has arranged the first ever Christmas Peace Train with aim to share festive joys with Christen community on the eve of Christmas.
Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also accompanied him on the occasion.
Saad Rafique said that government was taking various concrete measures to overcome the challenges like terrorism and power shortage. He said that due to successful government policies, the backbone of terrorism has been broken while power crisis would soon be over as well.
Talking on the occasion, the Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Christian community was playing a great role for the development of Pakistan. He appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Railways for running this special train.
