Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Friday condoled with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the recent terrorist incident at a Christmas market in Berlin. In a letter addressed to the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the adviser conveyed profound sadness on the terrorist incident at the Breitscheidplatz Christmas market in Berlin, in which many innocent lives were lost and scores of others got injured.
The adviser conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and friends of the innocent victims who have to undergo pain and sufferings on a joyous and festive time. He also condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and expressed solidarity with Germany and the international community in the fight to eradicate this menace. As many as 12 people were killed and dozens others got injured when a truck drove into the Berlin Christmas marker on Monday last.
