Chinese delegation from Qingdao Agriculture University called on vice chancellor University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Professor Doctor Talat Naseer Pasha on Friday. The delegation comprised of College of International Education Professor College of Horticulture, Qingdao Agriculture University Dean Professor Dr ZHU Jun, Professor of Fruit Science, Vice-President, Qingdao Agricultural University China Professor Dr Yuan Yongbing and Dean Dr Shanhu Qingdao Agriculture University.
The Chinese professors desired collaboration with the UVAS in areas of mutual interest, including establishing vaccine production unit in Pakistan, promotion of Chinese traditional herbal medicine in Pakistan for the control of large animal disease. The Vice-Chancellor assured them of full support of the UVAS and said that doors of the university are always open for the cause of education and research The Vice-Chancellor briefed the delegation about the university's academic and research projects and national and international collaborations.
