KARACHI: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghouri has expressed concern over the incidents of target killing in the metropolis.
In a brief chat with media after regularization letters award ceremony at KPT head office here on Thursday, he said it was the responsibility of police and law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order situation and provide protection to the people.
To a question about recent incidents of killing, he said "it for the police to take immediate steps to arrest the culprits involved in such incidents irrespective of their affiliations.
To another question about creation of new provinces, he said that MQM has firm believe that it was in the interest of people and assured that his party will use all resources for this purpose.
