Police for quashing illegal arms case against Abidi

Karachi Police while declaring the arms recovered from the house of former Senator Faisal Raza Abidi as legal has requested to quash the case against the former Senator by marking the FIR as 'C' class. A local court on Saturday heard the case of possession of illegal arms against the former PPP Senator Faisal Raza Abidi.
During the hearing, the Investigation Officer of the case submitted his report in the court. In the report, the IO said that the arms recovered from the house of Abidi were legal, therefore the case against him be quashed. It is to be mentioned here that Police had registered an FIR for possession of illegal arms against Abidi at Sachal Police Station following a raid on his house.
