With 8 days short of 973th Urs of Hazrat Usman Ali Hajvery, popularly known as Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh (Data Sahib), Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar reviewed the facilitation and security arrangements taken by the its 22 members committee on Friday. While addressing through a video link, the minister said this year the visitors will have better security and other arrangements as compared to the past and zero tolerance policy will be observed against the negligent staff.
Sources in the security division of Data Gunj Baksh told that roads leading to the shrine would remain closed for traffic amid security measures. "Walkthrough gates, metal detectors and fence wires will be installed on the entry points of Darbar to check and screen the visitors", the sources said. Like the previous years, the devotees will establish milk sabeels on the premises of shrine. The sources further said that management of committee of Darbar may also allow some welfare organisations to set up medical camps near the shrine to provide first aid to the devotees in case of emergency. The management will strictly pay their attention to the cleanliness as well. Several sessions of naat and qawali will also be on the first day.
