Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, while greeting Donald Trump on his electoral victory, has expressed the hope that after assuming his high office, Donald Trump would review his ideas in view of his heavy responsibilities at national and international level and prove himself as a responsible US President.
Commenting on the results of the US Presidential election, the JIP chief said that Trump had expressed his views in regard to the third world especially the Muslims, and had reaffirmed his views after his victory. He said that the Islamic countries could protect Islam and the Muslims through their unity and unanimity. He said if the Muslim states and the Muslim masses did not adopt the policy of self reliance and mutual unity, their problems would only increase.
