With just a few days to go, potential Chevening Scholars from Pakistan have been urged to submit their applications before the deadline closes on 8th November 2016, by the British Deputy High Commissioner, Patrick Moody at the British High Commission in Islamabad.
According to a statement issued by the British High Commission on Thursday, Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and who have strong academic backgrounds.
The scholarship offers financial support to study for a one year master's degree at any UK university and the opportunity to become part of an influential global network of 46,000 alumni. Applicants must have sixteen years of education and two years work experience at the time of application.
The Deputy High Commissioner, Patrick Moody said, "Anyone who wants to challenge him or herself and develop his or her leadership potential should apply for a Chevening Scholarship. A master's degree from a prestigious UK university opens doors in Pakistan and around the world."
