Blocking Khattak's entry into Punjab: KP government decides to register FIR against Nisar, others

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mushtaq Ghani on Thursday announced that an FIR against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and other top officials would be lodged for firing teargas on a convoy of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and preventing him and others from entering Punjab.
Aaj News reported that Chief Secretary and Inspector General Police of Punjab province would also be named in the FIR as co-accused for the 'attack' on the convoy of KP CM Pervez Khattak on October 31.
"Rubber bullets were also fired on us. Under which law, our entry into Punjab was blocked by Punjab police and FC?" Ghani asked.
The convoy came under heavy teargas shelling at Swabi Interchange first before being stopped again at Burhan Interchange.
