ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Wednesday said he would discuss the issue of import of Liquified Natural Gas from the leadership of Qatar during his forthcoming visit next week.
He was talking to Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain who called on him here at the Prime Minister House and apprised him about the progress made with regard to the import of LNG from Qatar.
The Prime Minister said his talks would focus to finalize the transnational formalities so that the LNG import could be ensured at the earliest to overcome shortage of energy to a large extent.
The Prime Minister directed the relevant Ministries to work out the details so that some progress could be made at the earliest.
