KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said that his party would emerge as the largest political party of the country with the support of the people and grace of Almighty Allah.
He was talking to a large gathering of party workers who had arrived at its head quarter "Nine Zero" to celebrate the success of the public meeting organised by the party in Sukkur, said a statement issued by MQM here on Saturday.
Altaf Hussain described the historic success of his party's public meeting in Sukkur as the last nail in the coffin of the vested interests that were always busy in driving a wedge between the people through their vicious conspiracies.
The Sukkur public meeting has demonstrated that the people of Pakistan, particularly the people of Sindh, were looking at MQM for the solution of their problems, he said.
Altaf Hussain expressed his apprehensions on occurrence of killings in Karachi and said that the conspirators were trying to disturb peace in that city. The people must foil this vicious conspiracy at all costs, he added.
