TOKYO: Japanese utility Tohoku Electric Power Co said on Saturday a 134 megawatt coal-fired unit at its Itoigawa plant in northwestern Japan was shut late on Friday night because of supply issues.
The utility could not yet forecast a time for restarting the unit or provide further details, a company spokesman said.
