UBL Fund Managers Limited (UBL Funds), managing UBL Stock Advantage Fund (equity fund), has received the Management Association of Pakistan's (MAP) Corporate Excellence Award in the Financial Sector for the second year. With this, UBL Funds remains the first and only asset management company in Pakistan to have received this award.
The award was received by Mir Muhammad Ali, CEO UBL Funds, from Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Finance Minister, at a ceremony held at a local hotel on 24th February, 2016.
Accepting the award were both UBL Funds' outgoing CEO Mir Muhammad Ali and now CEO Yasir Qadri, who just took on his new role recently, Mir Muhammad Ali said "I am confident that UBL Funds will continue to get even bigger awards under Yasir and with the senior management leadership."-PR
