On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,672 million. The number of lots traded was 31.20 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,559. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5,037 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 555.6 million), silver (PKR 75.11 million) and cotton (PKR 3.69 million).
