A three-member team of Scotland Yard has completed the investigation into the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq's murder case in Pakistan. Sources said the Scotland Yard team comprising Stuart Michael Greenaway, David Jonathan Tan and Daniel Houghton Challenger has obtained the statement of key accused in the Imran Farooq murder case, Mohsin Ali. It also questioned him about the statements of Khalid Shamim and Moazzam Ali, the other two accused.
Sources said the team also held a meeting with senior officials of Ministry of Interior and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). It will return anytime soon, they said. Earlier, a three-member team of Scotland Yard visited Islamabad in July this year. They were given access to two accused - Khalid Shamim and Moazzam Ali - in the Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
