-On the receipt of persisting complaints regarding misuse of powers and corruption against Special Investigation Teams (SIT) of various police units, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider jamali has strictly directed that all such SITs shall be disbanded with immediate effect throughout Sindh.
Henceforth, no SIT shall continue working anywhere in Sindh and staff posted in such SITs shall be transferred and posted to operational duties immediately. IGP Sindh has directed that compliance of this order shall be made in letter and spirit and no laxity in this regard would be tolerated. He said that strict action would be taken in case of non-compliance.
