Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospitals established free eye camp at Tehsil Headquarter Darosh on 27th May 2015. The camp carried out by the Al-Shifa Center for Community Ophthalmology under the supervision of GM ACCO Colonel Tariq Usman, with the collaboration of Chitral Scouts(FC Sector North). The presence of health care services in these areas is very scarce due to the difficult accessibility of the area.
During the free eye camp patients were given free medicine and prescription glasses. A total 840 of patients were checked up in OPD, 72 patients were referred to the hospital for free treatment, 1062 children also screened at Frontier Corps Public School Darosh. These patients will be treated free of cost in the main hospital. Brigadier Zia Ul Rehman (Sector Commandant North) appreciated the effort of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospitals team.-PR
