kseKARACHI: Bullish trend was witnessed at Karachi share market from the opening of the session on Friday on expectations of a positive development regarding capital gain tax.

The market participants are expecting a favourable announcement by the finance minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh during his visit to KSE scheduled on Saturday.

The KSE-100 index surged by 269 points to 11.785 level.

Trading activities also improved significantly on the back of aggressive participation of local investors.
