HYDERABAD: The Provincial Caretaker Minister of Mines and Minerals Development Col. (Retd) Dost Muhammad Chandio has maintained that the caretaker government is responsible for holding of general elections in free, fair, impartial manners and in peaceful atmosphere.
Addressing the members of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry at HCCI Secretariat here Monday, the Minister also maintained that the caretaker government has no affiliation with any political party and would ensure elections in peaceful atmosphere.
Being the caretaker Minister, Dost Muhammad Chandio who is also holding the portfolios of Rehabilitation, Transport and Mass Transit also assured to resolve the issues of the business community of the province adding that his door remained opened for the businessmen, industrialists and traders for addressing their genuine demands.
About illegal bus and wagons terminals, the Minister assured that he would discuss the issue with the DIG Hyderabad so that prompt action could be initiated in this regard.
Earlier, the President HCCI Muhammad Ikram Rajput in his welcome address, highlighted the issues being faced by the business community of Hyderabad.
