QUETTA: Director General National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan Mirza Muhammad Irfan Baig on Saturday said corruption case of references against former Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani and Ex, Food Minister Izhar Khan Khosa would be sent to NAB Chairman for further proceeding of approving.
He said this while chairing a regional board meeting where important decisions were made against former CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani, Ex, Food minister Izhar Khosa and other officials involved in cases of corruption, said a press release.
The meeting was also decided that the case of reference against former CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani would be sent to NAB Chairman for processing of approving after completing investigation report while he was involved in illegal utilizing his authorities and damaging national finance during his tenure as CM Balochsitan.
The NAB also completed its investigation report about involvement of embezzlement of wheat of former, Food Minister Izhar Khan Khosa and illegal recruitments of officer in Balochistan Assembly which would be sent to NAB Chairman for further proceeding, it added.
The meeting also advised that references of corruption cases against official officers including ex secretary C&W Ali Ahmed Mengal involved in illegal collecting assets worth million rupees, embezzlement of official lands, DG Treasury Office Ali Gull Kurd having illegal assets worth Rs, 60 crores and Store Official WASA Amir Latif Rana would be sent to NAB headquarter regarding further procedure as investigations were completed against them.
“The meeting also ordered that investigation would be commenced against Local Government of Department Director Development Office Quetta officer who was involved in embezzlement if 12 water schemes worth Rs 12 crores”, it said.
They also recommended that inquiry process could be launched against official of Department PDM illegal purchasing of tents and Department of Food Killa Abdullah district and Zhob officials for charging of embezzlement of wheat and having illegal assets worth million rupees.
“Inquiry against Assistant Director of Food Shair Zaman Tareen for utilizing illegal authorities and Chairman Municipal Committee Nasirabad involving in corruption would be started”, the meeting decided.
