FAISALABAD: A sum of Rs 510 million are being spent on provision of missing facilities in government schools in the district.
Presiding over a meeting here Wednesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Khalid Masood Farookah said that work on 88 ongoing schemes in schools should be speeded up and all projects should be completed in time.
He also reviewed repair and maintenance of dilapidated school buildings, setting up IT labs and construction of boundary walls.
CEO Education Rana Muhammad Shabir, DO Secondary Education Khalid Akhtar, X-en Buildings Tahir Anjum, and other officers of education department were also present on the occasion.
