PPP always stands by Kashmiris for right to self-determination

ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister, Senator A. Rehman Malik on Wednesday strongly condemned Indian Forces brutalities in Indian Occupied Kashmir, saying Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) always stands by people of Kashmiri for their right of self-determination.

He welcomed senior leaders from Kashmir and said PPP and its leadership have always highlighted issue of Kashmir on national and international forum and "Kashmir Cause" has always been remained on top of party manifesto.

He was addressing Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs wherein prominent Kashmiri leaders were invited.

Rehman Malik, who is also Chairman, Senate Standing Committee on Interior said, "PPP will continue its support to Kashmiris till their self-determination."

He said the Kashmir issue can only be resolved by implementation on UN Resolution as there is a need to hold self-determination under UN Resolution for ultimate solution of the issue.

Senator Malik said it is wrong to say that bilateral discussions and agreements are necessary to resolve Kashmir issue as there is need to take practical steps for implementation on UN Resolution.

He said Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has sent RSS activists in Kashmir for minimizing Kashmiris population and now atrocities are being done through nexus of ISIS in the valley.
