BUDAPEST: Hungary's central bank said on Tuesday global market volatility justified a cautious approach to monetary policy, adding that its only anchor was inflation.
"The current volatile international environment suggests a more cautious approach," it said in a post-meeting statement.
"The Council will ensure the maintenance of loose monetary conditions, necessary to achieve the inflation target in a sustainable manner, by using the current set of monetary policy instruments."
