ISLAMABAD: The elections of the District Bar Association Islamabad for the term 2012-13 would be held on Saturday (January 14).
General Secretary Islamabad High Court Bar Association, Raja Shakeel Abbasi told this agency that there are three candidates for the post of President including Javed Akbar,Riasat Gondal and Zulifqar.
While two candidates would contest for the post of General secretary including Chaudhry Arbab Ayoub Gujjar and Naeem Gujjar.
Kalsoom Rafique and Fiaz Baddana are contesting for the slot of vice president. However,the other office bearers of Islamabad Bar Association has been elected unopposed.
It is pertinent to mention here that more than 1600 lawyers would use their right of votes for choosing their representatives.
