President administers oath to six-member caretaker federal cabinet

The interim cabinet members appointed by caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk took the oath at President House on Tuesday.
President Mamnoon Hussain administered oaths to the six-member caretaker federal cabinet during a ceremony, which included the PM among others.
The members who took oath include State Bank of Pakistan's former governor Dr Shamshad Akhtar, Roshan Khurshid, former ambassador to United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Barrister Ali Zafar, Azam Khan and Muhammad Yousaf Sheikh.
According to local media reports, Akhtar will assume the charge of federal finance ministry whereas, Haroon will be given the portfolio of foreign ministry.
After today's oath, the six-member federal cabinet, which is also one-third the size of Sindh caretaker cabinet, will assist PM Mulk in serving the country and overseeing the general elections that are scheduled to be held on July 25.
