LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan Wednesday said that progress could be ensured by following the Islamic teachings in real sense.
He stated this while addressing the launching ceremony of compulsory teaching of the Holy Quran (Naazra and full translation) at 90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-i-Azam.
Islamic education would be provided in a more efficient manner and this would definitely help in bringing improvement in children, he said.
Talking to the media, he said the Punjab government had made sincere efforts for strengthening of education, adding that a large number of children had been enrolled in schools.
The minister said that efforts were needed to improve the quality of education.
