MNA Azeem Daultana laid to rest
KARACHI: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Azeem Ahmed Khan Daultana, who died in a road accident on Tuesday, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Luddan later in the evening.
According to sources, funeral prayers for Azeem Daultana were to be offered at 4pm at Government Higher Secondary School in his native town Luddan.
Family members said that MNA Azeem Ahmed Khan Daultana was driving to Luddan along with his gunman Muhammad Nawab when the vehicle overturned after hitting a tree near Kot Ghulam Qadir Pul in the early hours of Tuesday. The accident caused fatal injuries to Azeem Daultana who died on the way to the hospital. His gunman, Muhammad Nawab, however, died on the spot.
PPP MNA Azeem Ahmed Khan Daultana was nephew of prominent Muslim League leader Tehmina Daultana.
