LAHORE: An accountability court on Thursday handed over Usman Saeed, the head of foreign exchange section of the National Bank of Pakistan, Lahore, for his alleged involvement in Rs 3 billion embezzlement, to National Accountability Bureau on 11 days of physical remand.
Earlier, the NAB officials produced the accused before Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Waseem Akhtar and sought his physical remand for investigation, saying that the accused was involved in Rs 3 billion embezzlement.
The court handed over the accused to NAB officials on physical remand and directed them to produce him on May 28.
The arrested employee worked at NBP's Main Branch Lahore before getting arrested by the bureau.
