PM Abbasi to attend OIC’s special summit on massacre of Palestinians

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be attending a special summit of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) being held in Turkey to discuss the massacre of Palestinians by Israeli forces.
The premier will be leaving for Turkey tomorrow to attend the special meeting of OIC. The summit is being held to discuss the ongoing massacre at the Gaza-Israel border where around 60 Palestinians have been killed.
On Tuesday, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim phoned PM Abbasi and extended invitation to him for participation in the extraordinary session of the OIC convened by Turkey on Friday. Yildrim invited him to participate in the discussion on the situation arising out from the massacre of innocent Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces.
Gaza saw its bloodiest day when demonstrations against the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem led to the massacre of 60 Palestinians by Israeli forces. Under US President Donald Trump's order, America controversially moved its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem earlier this week, which led to a protest by the Palestinians.
