Ramiz Raja says ‘uncle Inzamam can relax’ after Imam’s stunning knock

Pakistan top order batsman Imam ul Haq proved his credentials at the game’s purest format after he, alongside teammate Babar Azam, led the team to victory against debutant Ireland, ensuring that the Pakistan’s follow-on decision did not backfire.
The 22-year-old left-handed opener Imam, who was himself making a Test debut, responded to the pressure by playing a hard fought knock of 74 unbeaten. This was his third fifty of the tour following half-centuries in warm-up matches against Kent and Northamptonshire.
The youngster won praise for his composed knock from fans and critics alike. Pakistan former captain turned commentator Ramiz Raja, on a lighthearted note, said that Pakistan cricket chief selector Inzamam ul Haq, who is also the uncle of Imam, can relax as we are ‘all good’ with Imam.
Uncle can relax- nephew can relax.. we are all good #imam ul haq

There's something wrong with my twitter by the way, all the people telling me Imam Ul Haq shouldn't be playing seem to have been muted at once.

Imam-ul-Haq, in his first Test match, has already achieved what his illustrious uncle Inzamam-ul-Haq never managed in his entire career: put in a dive to complete a quick run.

Imam Ul Haq gets to his 50, well deserved and much needed one to release the pressure. Hope he maintains consistency #PAKvIRE

Imam was under a lot of pressure after his selection for the tour led to allegations of nepotism against Pakistan selection chief and former Test batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq.
