Senator Rabbani strongly condemns Israeli brutalities in Gaza

ISLAMABAD: Senator, Mian Raza Rabbani Tuesday strongly condemned the ongoing brutalities and violence of Israel in Gaza.

He said “we should stand with the helpless families of the injured and killed. The deafening silence from many countries is highly deplorable," said press release issued here.

"I am horrified by the brutality shown by the Israeli armed forces against unarmed protestors including women and children. The scale and ferocity of this onslaught is unfortunate”, he added.

The Senator decried the violence, saying, “these killings are travesty of all norms of international justice that require serious intervention from the international community. Israel should not be allowed to kill the people with such flagrant impunity."

The people of Palestine had suffered decades of heinous violations for their fundamental human rights while the entire world watched in different degrees of horror or indifference, he added.

The Senator Rabbani said "We are deeply shocked and concerned by the violence. We are calling on the international community and other Muslim nations to not only condemn but proactively push to stop the ethnic-cleansing of the people of Palestine on all diplomatic forums”.
