HARIPUR: Water level of Tarbela Dam has started gradually going up after remaining on dead level for more than two weeks.
According to daily report, the recorded water level was 1,391 cusec while the power generation of the dam reached 575 megawatts.
According to the officials, only seven power generation units out of 14 are producing 575 megawatts electricity and they are also not working with full capacity either.
Today, water inflow in the dam was 46,200 cusec while the outflow was 35,000 cusec.
It was also disclosed that 400 cusec feet water was also released for Pehur High-Level Canal (PHLC) to supply water for some areas of KPK for irrigation.
