India not cooperating on Mumbai attacks trial

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lt. Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Monday said the major reason for incomplete trial of Mumbai attacks was non-cooperation by India.

Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, he said India was trying to destabilise Karachi and Balochistan.

Abdul Qayyum said that Pakistan itself was fighting a war against non-state actors, adding terrorist would be eliminated for the country's peace and prosperity.

Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was a patriot and could not give any statement against the country, he said and added media had misreported his statement.
