LIMA: Peru central bank offered to buy dollars on Monday as the sol currency bid 0.04 percent stronger at 2.691 per US dollar.
The bank frequently intervenes in the local spot market to curb volatility, but the sol has continued to trade at its strongest level in more than 10 years in recent weeks.
