ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Monday offered fateha for dozens of martyrs, who lost their lives in various incidents all across the country and in Indian occupied Kashmir (IHK).
Pir Muhammad Aminul Hasnat Shah, the Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony led the prayer on the request of the Speaker and offered fateha for those killed in coal mine collapse in Balochistan and victims of Hazara community.
The National Assembly also offered fateha for 14 martyrs who were killed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir during last twenty-four hours.
On the occasion, Speaker National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq said that it has become a routine that Kashmiris and Palestinians were being killed on daily basis by Indian and Isreali forces respectively.
The assembly offered dua for early recovery of Interior Minister, Ahsan Iqbal who was injured in a firing incident in Narowal.
The assembly also offered dua for the victims of target killing in Dera Ismail Khan.
