BAHAWALPUR: The Fauji Fertiliser Company (FFC) in continuation of its initiatives to impart training for farmers on Monday arranged a training on cotton crop.
The event was organised at Gull Pur Hithar area of Bahawalpur and many progressive farmers attended the training session.
The agriculture expert of the FFC asked the farmers to increase quantity of DAP and Potash Fertiliser in the crop field to enhance the production of cotton. He said "Water is a scarce agricultural resource.
FFC helps farmers to achieve optimum yield while reducing water consumption.
This is achieved by maintaining analystical data for plant nutrition and water quality & consumption needs."
Majority of the training session was based on the technical issues pertaining to the cultivation of cotton. The farmers also participated actively in the session and interacted with the trainers.
